Copic Multiliner inking pens are a must-have item for all Artists, Illustrators and Designers. These all-purpose pens are the ideal choice when consistent line flow and precision counts! It is highly recommended that users have three to four different pen sizes, for the greatest variety of line widths. Multiliners are waterproof on most papers, and are frequently used with watercolors because they will not bleed. Our Multiliners are Copic-proof, meaning that once dry, the Multiliner's ink will not bleed when colored over with Copic markers. Wax from colored pencils prevents the ink from soaking into the paper evenly, which may cause your Multiliner line to smear. We recommend using the Multiliner before applying colored pencil.

5 of 5 Great for panel lining! December 5, 2018
Reviewer: R from Texas, United States
I love this pen for doing panel outlines in my comic series. It lasts for a good while (Around 30-40 pages of consistent use in my experience) and lays down ink very nicely. Of course, I love using it to create bold, thick outlines, along with the BS pen and the 1.0 pen.

The only downside is that it doesn't come in the SP- refillable- version, but what can you do?
