Pre-orders Policies
Pre-Orders Purchasing Policies:
Regarding pre-orders, you can do them however you want to, because we have options. It's all about your personal preference and/or what your order consists of!
Option 1) If all you are getting is pre-order item(s) you can choose to pay for them up front. Once they're in we ship it out to you right away. This is basically- you order, you pay, it comes and we ship.
* Pre-order items that are paid for up front are given priority should allocations occur.
Option 2) If all you are getting is pre-order item(s) you can choose to pay for them once they are in stock. We contact you via email when they're in and then you pay us and we ship it. [During checkout simply select pre-order for your payment method.] To use this option you MUST have an account with Otaku Fuel. All orders submitted as "pre-order" for payment method without an account will be canceled on the spot.
* Pre-order items that are not paid for in advance will be held for seven (7) days when they come in stock. If payment is not received within seven (7) days your pre-order will be canceled and your item can and will be added back into our main inventory. Customers that make a habit of this will not be allowed to pre-order without payment in advance.
Option 3) If you are purchasing more than just pre-order items you have to pay for the pre-order item along with the rest of the order. (This is usually used by those in the USA that want to get the free shipping for orders over $99.) We send you everything that's in and then we send the pre-order item(s) once it(they) come(s) in.
** International pre-orders should be submitted separately from in stock items unless you wish to either (a) wait until the pre-order item arrives and ship everything together OR (b) you wish to pay for each shipment as the stock arrives. Please make a note of such when placing your International order if this applies to you. International customers are always responsible for the shipping fees of EACH shipment. There is no free shipping on any shipment for International orders.
*** Pre-orders can be canceled at anytime whether you pay in advance or not. If you pay in advance and cancel the pre-order item(s) within 60 days of the order date we simply refund the money. Pre-paid pre-orders canceled past 60 days of the order will be charged a 10% processing fee. Customers that make a habit of canceling pre-orders will be flagged and may lose the privledge of pre-ordering items before they come into stock. Customers that have a habit of canceling unpaid pre-orders will definitely get flagged and lose the privledge of placing pre-orders more quickly than those that pre-pay. Cancellation of pre-order items must be made by email.
Pre-orders Free Shipping Policies:
This applies to USA residents ONLY as International customers are always responsible for the shipping fees of EACH shipment.
* Pre-orders with more than one pre-order item do not qualify for free shipping until $99 is PAID.
* Regardless of the number of pre-order items, we will only do two (2) separate shipments with free shipping per order. This means that if you have 5 items and 2 of them come in on 1/30, 2 of them on 2/15 and 1 of them on 3/30, 2 will be shipped on 1/30, and then the other 3 on 3/30 when the final item comes into stock. If you have multiple items on pre-order and wish to have them all shipped as they come in, we will cover two shipments for free after $99 is paid and the other shipments are the responsibility of the buyer to pay for.
* If you cancel a pre-order and your pre-order purchase was a deciding factor on your original orders qualification on free shipping or not...we will charge the shipping fees due.
